If you haven’t seen ‘The Late, Late Show’ on CBS, you’re truly missing out on one of the coolest and funniest recurring bits to play on television.
Host James Corden hits up famous singers for a drive and, lo and behold, he just so happens to have the artist’s songs on the radio. What happens next is “Carpool Karaoke,” where they two drive around town singing the musician’s hit songs (and Corden is surprisingly good!).
The host has done this with Adele, Mariah Carey, Rod Stewart and countless others, with some funny chit-chat in between.
Now Air New Zealand literally wants Corden to take this even higher.
Are you ready for “Cockpit Karaoke?”
Air New Zealand, famous for its safety videos, has concocted another video in which it asks Corden to come on board and implement a whole new kind of karaoke.
“Mate, we’ve got a pitch for you,” the text on the video reads.
Whether the host and the airline end up making some harmony together remains to be seen, but it’s a spirited try by Air New Zealand and we have no doubt the likeable and affable Corden will most certainly entertain the idea.
Here’s the pitch video:
