WATCH: Amazing Skills on Display as Pilots Battle Crosswinds

Would a pilotless plane be able to do this?
A man in Germany spent seven hours at the Dusseldorf Airport on Wednesday and uploaded this amazing video of planes landing during a day of nasty crosswinds.
The videographer noted that he saw 15 go-arounds – not all of them captured on this 10-minute video – and many touch-and-go landings. You talk about the incredible skills and decision-making that pilots must make every day, well, it was all on display here. The crosswinds were measured at 55 knots in some cases – that’s over 62 miles an hour, enough to create plenty of problems even for a larger commercial airliner.
Watch these amazing pilots land their planes in adverse conditions.
