British Airways and have collaborated on a project themed around family ties and National Sisters Day on Aug. 7, and the result is a poignant, heart-warming video.

BA and Ancestry came together to unite two sisters from Texas (ages 65 and 61), for the first time with their long-lost sister in the UK (age 71).

Using Ancestry, the two sisters in Texas realized their dad was the father of another girl in England who was given up for adoption. The two Texans were set to fly to London to meet their sister when BA facilitated a meeting on the plane by flying the third sister to Austin to escort them back to England.

Alongside the video premiere, British Airways has also launched a limited time "fly and drive" offer to the UK and Ireland -- flights plus five days car rental packages start from $549 from New York to Dublin and $779 to London.

British Airways and Ancestry have also launched a social media contest where three people will be able to win a pair of roundtrip Club World (business class) tickets on British Airways complete with four nights at the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane Hotel to experience their own trip of a lifetime.

Hopeful travelers can enter by filling out the contest form by Sept. 30.
