Delta Air Lines is calling it the "Internetest Safety Video on the Internet," and with good reason.
The carrier's new, six-minute long safety video pays homage to internet pop culture that goes back at least 16 years, if not longer. It includes references to the Dancing Baby, the Evolution of Dance, the two boys - now grown - from 'Charlie Bit My Finger,' the recent ALS Ice Bucket Challenge phenomenon and more.
There's also an array of animals that includes, yes, the Roomba Cat.
And just in case you don't know or might have forgotten some of the references from the early days of the internet, Delta has included a handy-dandy reference chart on the carrier's YouTube page.
While we're getting a chuckle from a few of these, we question any video that claims an airplane overhead storage compartment can hold a double rainbow. And we're pretty sure the "Will it Blend" guy could not get a blender through security.
