What was that old television commercial jingle? "Reach out, reach out and touch someone."
It's like that every day at Princess Juliana International Airport in St. Maarten, where planes landing at the airport come in from the ocean and right over Maho Beach's sunbathers-so low it seems like you can reach out, reach out and touch those aircraft.

A tourist shot this spectacular video of an American Airlines Flight 518 from Philadelphia approaching famous Runway 10 at Princess Juliana. The aircraft, an Airbus-319, descended as usual but the tourist shooting the video noticed the plane looked a bit lower than usual than what they had seen all day of flights approaching the runway.
