WATCH: Spirit Airlines Tweaks Itself About Complaints

Spirit Airlines continues to enjoy poking fun – at itself.

In a new video uploaded to its YouTube channel today, Spirit uses a fake newscast – with some absolutely hysterical ‘headlines’ crawling across the bottom – called the “State of the Hate Report.”

In it, a puppet anchorman named Carl Feltman (“felt” man, get it?) interviews a real-life Ben Baldanza, the CEO of Spirit Airlines, on the latest Department of Transportation figures that show Spirit received 7.9 complaints per for every 100,000 passengers.

The anchor notes that this is one of the highest ratios in the industry; Baldanza shoots back that “if you do the math, 99.99 percent of Spirit customers did not complain. That means you’re more likely to be injured by a chainsaw than complain about spirit, so we must be doing something right.”

Say what you want about Spirit, at least they have a great sense of humor.
