Business Casual: Finding Travel Pleasure in Santa Clara

It’s home to Super Bowl 50. It’s just south of that Mecca of food and entertainment known as San Francisco. It’s Santa Clara, and it’s high time you met.
Whether you are in town on business thanks to any number of companies that garner attention throughout Silicon Valley or headed to the area to see what it has to offer the family for vacation, you will be pleasantly surprised.
This town has an abundance of leisure opportunities. As we often do with Business Casual, we are examining those moments perfect for the businessperson with a strict time budget.
We understand that if you are in town for corporate efforts that free time is a premium. But as you might see from just a few examples, it doesn’t mean you can’t take a bit of time to explore a truly vibrant scene.
There is no better place to immerse yourself in budding technology than Santa Clara. More specifically, you can discover a great deal about the technology behind computer chips at a museum dedicated to the innovation.
If you fancy yourself a football fan then you might want to take a gander at the new edition to the NFL landscape: Levi’s Stadium.
For those who have specific loyalties, the stadium also houses the San Francisco 49ers museum, which you can access for a fee.
Speaking of football, the Triton Museum of Art, well worth your time normally, currently houses an exhibition called Gridiron Glory: The Best of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
You can bask in football brilliance from now until April 3, 2016.
Perhaps your business takes you near the campus of Santa Clara University.
There is nothing more refreshing than a nice amble around town, which in this case will feature a mission established back in 1777.
Best of The Rest:
Obviously, your time is precious, but we couldn’t leave without noting some of the area’s more popular attractions.
As the website states, taking this tour is as easy as following the easy to find banners, which “lead visitors through a series of 28 plaques that trace Santa Clara's history from a Native American settlement to its present status as the internationally-recognized center of technology innovation.”
You might be in town for business, but there is plenty to adore about Santa Clara if you can manage to squeeze just a bit of leisure out of your itinerary.
