France-based car rental company Europcar has launched several new services across the U.K. aimed at making life easier for time-strapped business travelers.
According to BreakingTravelNews.com, the company will operate fast-track desks at nearly three dozen airport locations in the U.K. dedicated to the road warrior. The desks are open 24 hours a day at London Heathrow Airport, London Stansted Airport, Gatwick Airport and Luton Airport.
While work responsibilities are ever-changing, business travelers fortunate enough to plan ahead will be able to streamline the process even further.
Business travelers at Heathrow who book their reservations ahead of time are entered into Europcar's "Fasttrack" system, allowing them to quickly access a screen to find out where their car is located and how to get there.
The Fasttrack service was launched at Heathrow last year.
Meanwhile, Europcar customers utilizing the company's "Choice" resource can save additional time. There's no need to wait in line or stop by a desk as travelers can head straight to the car park to choose a vehicle and be on their way.
Europcar's new services also focus on making working easier.
"Helping travelers stay connected whilst on the move, we added 4G mobile Wi-Fi hotspots available for purchase from our major airport locations during 2014," said Ken McCall, U.K. manager for Europcar. "It’s another example of how Europcar has a very clear understanding of the pressures faced by time-poor business travelers."
Business travelers who are really short on time will likely consider Heathrow Arrive & Drive. The new service allows customers to collect or drop off their car from Terminals 1 and 5 at Heathrow.
For business travelers, time-saving options are not only convenient, but can make all the difference.
