Seattle Marriott Announces 'Sunday Funday' Offer for Group Business Travelers

The Seattle Marriott Waterfront hotel is looking to entice business travelers with a new offer promoting the Emerald City as an elite "Sunday Funday" destination.

The Sunday Funday group offer is designed to provide road warriors visiting the Pacific Northwest with discounted rates when they arrive on Sunday. Qualifying guests will also receive a complimentary cocktail at the hotel's lobby bar upon arrival.

Located close to popular attractions like the Space Needle, Pike Place Market and Pacific Science Center, the Seattle Marriott Waterfront boasts modern conference rooms and more than a dozen meeting rooms equipped with Wi-Fi and audiovisual equipment for presentations.

Organizers can also call on Marriott's certified event specialists to enhance meetings and other company events if need be. Plus, special event menus inspired by local cuisine are available to working guests.

Guests can also download the Marriott Red Coat Meeting Services app to their tablet or smartphone to assist in organizing and executing their on-site meeting.

Besides discounted rates, business travelers could potentially experience other benefits.

Marriott points out that "studies show that fun at work leads to increased productivity and can boost workplace morale."

But keep in mind that the offer is valid only for groups booking 10 or more rooms with a main arrival scheduled for a Sunday. Eligible reservations must also be made in advance.
