Auto Europe To Offer Portable MiFi Rentals
European car rental company Auto Europe is running a special promotion that gives customers portable Mi-Fi rentals in the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Germany.
The cost is just $5 a day to access data; upgrade to a luxury car rental and the service is free.
Auto Europe uses the Huawei Mobile Wi-Fi E5331 that permits connectivity with up to eight Wi-Fi enabled devices up to 30 feet from the portable router. It also features a secure password-protected connection that, combined with its portability, allows you to connect anywhere safely including airports and public areas. Use the Mi-Fi with your iPhone and access GPS mapping on the go!
Each unit also comes with a user manual, SIM equipped for 3G cellular access in the country of preference, wall and car USB charger, and a convenient carrying case.
This offer is valid for citizens residing in the United States only and for qualifying car rentals in the UK, France, Italy and Germany. Promotion is valid for pickups now through December 31, 2015 and is valid for a minimum three-day car rental. Seven day advanced booking notice required.
Halfway around the world, Enterprise Holdings has appointed Redspot, Australia’s largest family-owned car rental company, as its franchise partner in Australia and New Zealand.
“We see tremendous opportunity in Australia, where the addition of a new player that’s truly focused on customer service will create healthy competition for customer loyalty,” Peter A. Smith, Vice President of Global Franchising for Enterprise Holdings, said in a release.
Enterprise Holdings, through its regional subsidiaries, operates the largest fleet of vehicles in the world – approximately 1.5 million – and a global network of more than 8,600 neighborhood and airport locations in more than 70 countries. Its Enterprise, National and Alamo brands will become operational later this year through the Redspot network at all major Australian airports, including the international gateways of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, as well as in key city centers. New Zealand operations will come online in 2016.
“This expansion is the latest milestone in our Asia-Pacific growth strategy,” Smith noted. “We’re careful to choose franchise partners like Redspot who not only have a history of success, but also share our values and commitment to customer service.”
