Hertz Announces Lowered Fiscal Expectations for 2016
Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. has announced that officials believe the company’s first quarter and full year 2016 U.S. car rental revenue and consolidated first quarter adjusted earnings per share will be lower than previously expected.

Alamo Rent A Car Teams With Mexican Baseball League
Alamo Rent A Car has announced that it has team with the Mexican Baseball League to help with upgrades to the renamed Kukulcan Alamo Park. The new renovations and stadium refurbishments were unveiled on April 3.

Lyft Line Service Adding Six New Cities
Many ride-sharing customers have fallen in love with the Lyft Line service, and in April the company will launch in six major cities including Denver, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Jose, Seattle and Newark.

Enterprise Car Rental Brands Win Multiple Awards
The Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands earned two major awards for their customer service. The awards were given by Temkin Experience Ratings and MONEY Magazine’s Best in Travel Awards.


As a way to help military personnel find work, Uber started the UberMILITARY program in 2014, and recently announced that more than 50,000 veterans signed up and nearly half are already driving for the company.

In order to battle against traffic congestion, residents in a town near Orlando, Florida, will receive an automatic 20 percent subsidy on any Uber trip within city limits, making this the first town in the country to offer such a credit.
