National Car Rental Offering Road to the Ryder Cup Sweepstakes
National Car Rental is the Official Rental Car of the PGA of America and an Official Partner of the 2016 Ryder Cup, and is now offering golf fans the chance to enter the “Road to the Ryder Cup” golf sweepstakes. Entrants have a chance to win a two-person VIP package to the 2016 Ryder Cup at Minnesota’s Hazeltine National Golf Club.

Uber Enticing New Drivers by Offering Short-Term Auto Rentals
Ride-hailing service Uber has teamed with The Hertz Corporation to offer short-term auto rentals to drivers as a way to encourage more people to sign up as drivers for the company. The service will launch in Los Angeles first, and then expand into other cities in the United States.

Rocky Mountaineer Offering Early-Bird Bonus for 2017 Bookings
Rail travel company Rocky Mountaineer is offering customers a special Early Booking Bonus on qualifying 2017 package bookings. Travelers can receive up to $800 in added value to enhance their Western Canadian and Pacific Northwest experience for bookings of eight days or more.


Avis Car Rental has announced that Avis Antilles (Martinique and Guadeloupe) has been named "Licensee of the Year" for Latin America and the Caribbean. Avis Antilles received the award at the 2016 Avis Licensee Awards for Latin America and the Caribbean at an event held in Grand Cayman.

In an expansion of the Chicago Union Station, Amtrak has announced it has doubled the space and added many new amenities for customers who are traveling in Sleeping cars or in Business class, as well as Select Plus and Select Executive Amtrak Guest Rewards members.
