Car Rental Prices Drop Due to Competition, Uber and Lyft
Car rental rates are dropping, as the Los Angeles Times is reporting average car rental rate for the fourth quarter of 2015 was $38.88, a 13.6 percent drop from the same quarter in 2011. Not only is stiffer competition in the car rental world resulting in lower prices, but the rise of ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft is also contributing to the price drop.

Bomb Found on Rental Car at Albuquerque Airport
Authorities in Albuquerque, New Mexico, discovered a credible explosive device on a rental car at Albuquerque International Sunport on Sunday. The facility was shut down for several hours while experts disarmed the explosive.

Lyft Line Service Comes to Atlanta

Avis Car Rental and Budget Car Rental have expanded their consumer car sales programs to Missouri and Oklahoma in order to offer customers well-maintained, late-model vehicles at discounted prices.

Auto Europe has announced that the company has renewed its Maine Seafood Rewards program for Travel Agents for the 16th year. Each time an agent completes a booking, they will be eligible to receive three Maine lobsters or two pounds of salmon shipped directly to them.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car announced that the company has more than 250 vacancies available for college graduates on its Management Trainee Program. Positions are available in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
