On Tuesday, Enterprise Rent-A-Car announced that the company had entered a multi-year agreement to become an official partner of entertainment company Live Nation.
As part of the marketing partnership between Enterprise and Live Nation, the car rental company will roll out exclusive video content developed by Live Nation and featuring popular artists and bands.
In each of the videos, the musicians will share stories from the road, and the content will be published on both Enterprise’s and Live Nation’s owned digital properties. In addition, branding for Enterprise will be found in 36 of Live Nation’s amphitheater venues, 39 of the company’s club/theater venues and across Live Nation’s digital network.
Music fans will be eligible to receive transportation options for live event-related road trips and rental discount promotions meant to make it easier to travel to live concerts and events.
“Our research tells us that music remains a very important part of our customers’ lives. Music moves all of us in very personal and emotional ways,” Enterprise vice president Lee Broughton said in a statement. “Through our partnership with Live Nation, we are excited to bring fans ever closer to the songs and artists they love most. This exclusive video content is going to be ‘must watch’ material for music fans. We’re amped to be bringing them personal stories from their favorite artists that they can’t get anywhere else.”
The partnership with Live Nation is the latest in a long line of deals made in Enterprise’s latest advertising campaign. The car rental company is highlighting transportation offerings by aiming its products at consumers on a more emotional level by tapping into their passions, including music.
