On Tuesday, Enterprise Rent-A-Car announced its entrance into the New Zealand market by teaming with franchisee Redspot Car Rentals to open its first location at the Queenstown Airport.
Redspot Car Rentals will operate the Enterprise office as part of the company's global network which also includes the National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands. As a result of the partnership, car rental customers will be able to rent from Enterprise, Redspot, National and Alamo all from the same airport location.
The franchise partnership with Redspot Car Rentals is a great example of Enterprise's desire to expand internationally. Redspot is a family-owned car rental business that was established in 1989 and has provided quality service to customers since its inception.
"We look forward to providing New Zealand's leisure and corporate customers with the highest level of service," Redspot Managing Director Dan Mekler said in a statement. "Opening our Queenstown Enterprise Rent-A-Car location is an exciting milestone, but it's just the beginning of our planned growth in New Zealand."
In addition to its new location in New Zealand, Enterprise also has 18 locations in Australia and plans on expanding with additional airport locations in North and South New Zealand over the next year.
With the expansion into New Zealand, the Enterprise, National and Alamo brands now operate in more than 80 countries and territories across the world.
