Enterprise Holdings Adding Alamo Rent A Car to Paraguay
Enterprise Holdings is one of the biggest rental car companies in the world, and the company’s subsidiary, Alamo Rent A Car, is continuing the expansion of the brand into Latin America by partnering with Amigos S.R.L. in Paraguay.
According to Enterprise Holdings, the new Alamo partnerships in Paraguay will help serve Silvio Pettirossi International Airport and downtown Asuncion, the country’s capital and largest city.
The Alamo brand can now be found in 24 countries and territories.
Enterprise Holdings vice president of global franchising, Peter Smith, released a statement about the partnership and how it’s a win-win situation for all parties involved:
“By opening locations in Paraguay’s largest city, Asuncion, we’re connecting our existing Alamo customers throughout the region to a new travel destination, as well as introducing local customers to the value and affordability of the Alamo brand. We’re also excited to offer a new Latin American travel option to our tour and travel agent partners around the world.”
The partnership between Alamo and Amigos S.R.L. has helped Enterprise Holdings continue its efforts to expand in both the Latin American markets and international markets as a whole. The company already operates the largest fleet of vehicles and is the largest car rental business in the world, as measured by revenue, employees and fleet.
Enterprise Holdings is more than just Alamo Rent A Car, though, as the company also owns National Car Rental and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The brands can be found in over 8,600 neighborhoods and airports and in more than 70 countries and territories.
