Helping others should be a craze that never goes out of style, and the Enterprise Holdings Foundation has taken it upon themselves to contribute to the Brattleboro Retreat's Uniformed Service Program.

According to, several representatives from Enterprise Rent-A-Car were on hand earlier this month to make a $1,500 donation to the Brattleboro Retreat, a mental health and addictions hospital in Brattleboro, Vermont.

Vice president of strategy and development for Brattleboro Retreat, Konstantin von Krusenstiern, released a statement about the generosity of the Enterprise Holdings Foundation:

“We are grateful for the generosity of this gift, and we look forward to partnering with Enterprise on future projects that will help ensure the ongoing delivery of these important services to men and women in uniform.”

The Uniformed Service Program is designed to help military veterans, police officers, fire personnel, and other uniformed services who are dealing with mental health issues, including post-traumatic stress disorder.

Enterprise area rental manager, Patrick Del Core, released a statement about his company’s commitment to the military and those who have served:

“Enterprise Holdings has a rich and distinctive heritage, going all the way back to our founder Jack Taylor, who served as a decorated fighter pilot in the skies over the South Pacific in World War II. When Taylor returned home he started his business and later named the company after an aircraft carrier on which he had served, the World War II USS Enterprise. Today, former service members currently make up nearly 10 percent of the privately-held company’s total U.S. workforce.”

The treatment center’s official website claims the $1,500 donation will help support programming and other activities associated with the Uniformed Service Program
