Enterprise Holdings Takes Top Three Spots in Recent Rankings
It was a banner day for Enterprise Holdings, as three of its subsidiary brands—Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car—were named the top three car rental companies in the 2015 Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards.
In a report from TravelAndLeisure.com, the National Car Rental brand ended up finishing first in the “Car Rental Agencies” category, while the Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Alamo Rent A Car brands finished second and third respectively.
Rounding out the top five was Avis Car Rental (fourth) and Hertz (fifth).
The rankings are based off how readers of Travel + Leisure Magazine rate the brands in five distinct categories, including vehicle selection, vehicle availability, car rental location, service and value.
Enterprise Holdings chief marketing and communications officer Pat Farrell said putting the customer first is the key to the company's success.
“Listening to consumer feedback is the best way – really, the only way – to build trust and confidence for the long term. That’s why our customer-focused strategy continues to pay off. It sets the bar high and strengthens all three of our brands in one of the most competitive spaces out there: the global car rental industry," Farrell said. "Our portfolio of brands is specifically designed to meet the diverse needs of our customers, from frugal families to business and leisure travelers around the world. While each brand has its own distinct identity, each shares the same commitment to creating the best car rental experience for our customers.”
The company is the largest car rental service provider and features the largest fleet of vehicles in the world, totaling around 1.5 million.
