Enterprise Renews Partnership with Athlete Network to Help Student-Athletes
Enterprise Holdings is already the largest car rental company in the world, but a renewed partnership with the Athlete Network should help continue promoting growth for years to come.
According to a press release from Enterprise, the agreement will give the company access to college athletic departments—over 500 nationwide—and the ability to network with the current and former student-athletes. Enterprise Rent-A-Car is one of the largest recruiters of college graduates in the country, and the new relationship should be beneficial to the company and those student-athletes looking for a job.
Enterprise Holdings vice president of talent acquisition, Marie Artim, commented on the partnership in the press release:
“Former student-athletes bring many desirable skills to the table, such as exceptional teamwork and a strong work ethic, which translate quite well to our business. As our business continues to grow and our hiring needs expand, we look forward to networking with even more student-athletes and providing these college graduates an ideal place to launch their careers.”
Enterprise Holdings as a company has put serious focus on its management training programs and initiatives, and college graduates have the chance to be promoted from within using the work ethic they showed during their athletic careers.
The franchise has a plethora of locations across the nation, including over 5,500 Enterprise offices “within 15 miles of 90 percent of the U.S. population,” and graduates from around the nation will likely have a location nearby.
Athlete Network CEO, Chris Smith, talked about the relationship with Enterprise and what it means to student-athletes:
“Enterprise provides our Athlete Network members with tremendous opportunities to translate their skills from the field to the business world. Any current or former athlete looking for a solid career foundation should connect with Enterprise.”
