Shopping around for a good deal on an auto rental in September? The Hertz Corporation is launching a monthlong sale that may be just the ticket.
Announced on Tuesday, the Hertz Autumn Sale offers a discount to anyone who books a rental car through the company's website or by phone between Sept. 1, and Sept. 30.
The rentals are available in more than 100 countries starting any time from Sept. 1, to March 20, 2016. To earn the discount, customers just need to apply the code "CDP 809600" online or through the customer service representative.
Hertz customers will be able to save 25 percent on qualifying domestic or outbound rentals in Europe, 20 percent in South America, the Caribbean and Asia Pacific and up to 20 percent in the Middle East and Africa.
For customers looking to stay in the United States and neighboring nations, the sale offers 20 percent savings on qualifying outbound rentals anywhere Hertz service is available in North America.
Hertz also has van rental discounts available in Germany, France, Italy, Norway, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. In addition to the discounts, the rentals made during the Hertz Autumn Sale qualify for loyalty points and reward days through the Hertz Gold Plus Rewards program.
