Hertz Global Holdings announced Tuesday that the car rental company's loyalty program, Hertz Gold Plus Rewards, has received top honors at the 2017 FlyerTalk Awards.
Hertz's loyalty program was voted the Best Rewards Program in the Drive category across every geographic region in the world for the sixth consecutive year.
In addition, the company earned a 2017 FlyerTalk Award for Outstanding Benefit in the Drive category for its Five Star and President's Circle Gold Plus Rewards elite membership tiers in Europe/Africa and Middle East/Asia/Oceana.
The FlyerTalk Awards are determined by members of an online community comprised of more than 675,000 frequent travelers, with the intent of finding and sharing expert knowledge of airline, hotel and car rental programs.
"We are honored that Hertz Gold Plus Rewards earned top recognition in the FlyerTalk Awards," Hertz CEO Kathryn Marinello said in a statement. "The FlyerTalk community represents many of our loyal customers and we thank them for choosing Gold Plus Rewards as their favorite car rental rewards program every year since the Awards debuted in 2012."

The Hertz Gold Plus Rewards program offers car rental customers exclusive benefits, including faster rentals, elite status, mobile gold alerts and the option to choose your car at participating locations.
Hertz is also helping customers by offering Ultimate Choice, which lets loyalty club members choose the car that's right for them by selecting any vehicle within their assigned zone based on their status and the class they reserved.
