Treasures of the Rhine Christmas Markets. (8 days. Nuremburg to Amsterdam) Travel along the Rhine and wander the medieval cobblestone streets of Bamberg before taking in the Christmas markets there. From there, explore the Bishop’s Residenz Palace in Würzburg or the walled town of Rothenburg. Celebrate Oktoberfest in Freudenberg before heading on to Rüdesheim and Cologne, where passengers may opt for an onboard cooking demonstration. Amsterdam is the final destination and offers the chance to explore the city’s canals and famed Zaanse Schans.
Christmas Markets. (15 days. Budapest to Amsterdam) Passengers will travel down the Danube and Rhine Rivers aboard a Scenic Space-Ship, taking in the holiday sights and sounds of such European capitals as Budapest and Vienna. From there it’s off to Rüdesheim and a trip aboard the Winzerexpress mini-train to visit Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum. Next stops include Freudenberg, Würzburg and the markets of Bamberg, Nuremberg and Regensberg. Other stops along the cruise include Passau, Salzburg, Melk, and Durnstein, where passengers may wish to attend Christmas Mass. Passengers will celebrate Christmas as they cruise to Vienna, where they will have two days to explore the city’s most famous sites. Finish the journey with two days in Budapest, discovering the many wonders of this stunning city.
Christmas Markets with Prague. (18 days. Prague to Amsterdam) An adventure into the heart of a European Christmas begins with three nights in Prague, where travelers will tour the city’s cultural highlights by day and wander through its magical Christmas markets by night. Passengers will be taken by coach to Budapest to begin their cruise aboard a Scenic Space-Ship, which will carry them along the Daube and Rhine Rivers with plenty of stops at Europe’s most iconic Christmas towns and markets.
