The Band Perry, Boston, Lionel Richie, and Heart headline the musical acts scheduled to perform on select Carnival Cruise Line "Fun Ships" this upcoming summer and fall as part of the cruise line's 2015 Carnival LIVE concert series.
"We're thrilled to build upon the tremendous success of Carnival LIVE with concerts this summer and fall by The Band Perry, Boston, Lionel Richie, and Heart - four incredibly talented acts that will provide our guests with an extraordinary entertainment experience," said Carnival LIVE director Bernie Dillon in a statement.
The upcoming concerts will be held in the docked ships' main theaters with guest capacity ranging from 900 to 1,300. General admission ticket prices will range from $35 to $75, while VIP tickets will cost anywhere from $125 to $250.
The Band Perry will kick things off with three consecutive performances July 28-30. The group is slated to perform aboard the Carnival Sensation (July 28), Carnival Fascination (July 29), and Carnival Magic (July 30) in Nassau.
The following month, Boston will play their greatest hits onboard the Carnival Sunshine, Carnival Fantasy, Carnival Sensation, and Carnival Ecstasy over a four-day stretch from Aug. 19-22.
All four performances will take place in Nassau.
Richie and Heart are scheduled to put on a series of performances in October. Richie will perform on the Carnival Freedom on Oct. 14, and the Carnival Pride Oct. 15 while both ships are docked in Nassau.
The following week will feature Heart aboard the Carnival Paradise (Oct. 20), the Carnival Ecstasy (Oct. 21), and the Carnival Breeze (Oct. 22), with all three concerts set to take place at port in Cozumel.
Prior to the upcoming summer and fall series, travelers cruising with Carnival will be able to catch other renowned acts including Smokey Robinson, Rascal Flatts, and Styx.
