Louis Cruises is thrilled to announce the Celestyal Cruises 2015 Adriatic itineraries. Beginning this year, Celestyal Cruises passengers can visit some of the most incredible ports in the Adriatic and the Ionian, including Venice, La Serenissima, where we’ll spend a full day and night. The line’s routes take cruisers along the exquisite Dalmatian Coast to some of its most spectacular destinations, including UNESCO World Heritage sites Dubrovnik and Kotor. Ports of call also include evergreen Corfu and stately Patras, at the crown of the Peloponnese, and at Bari, Italy, on the Puglia coast.

There are three new Celestyal Cruises to the Adriatic and the Ionian offered onboard the Celestyal Crystal, all sailing in October:

- Two seven-day cruises: Venice (Chioggia) to Venice Oct. 11-18 and Oct. 18-25 and Bari to Bari Oct.10-17 and Oct. 17-24.

- One 5/6-day cruise, departing from Bari on Oct. 24 or from Venice (Chioggia) on Oct. 25 and disembarking in Lavrion on Oct. 30.

Travelers can also add two extra days to the Venice to Venice cruise by embarking in Athens (Lavrion) on Oct. 9 and disembarking in Venice (Chioggia) on Oct. 18.

Like Celestyal Cruises’ Aegean programs, the company’s Adriatic and Ionian cruises present guests with the “Real Greek Experience,” which comprises authentic Greek cuisine, superlative hospitality, special themed events that take passengers deep into Greek culture and history, and thrilling entertainment. Passengers can easily combine these cruises with their land-based holidays in Italy and Greece.

Celestyal Cruises’ Adriatic and Ionian cruises will include shore excursions to some of the region’s most incredible spots, many of them UNESCO World Heritage sites, including Butrint, Albania, which has been inhabited since prehistory; Budva, one of the oldest settlements in the Balkans, and Ston, near Dubrovnik, a walled city completed in the 1500s and home to the longest defensive wall in the world. Other highlights include the incredible beaches of Corfu and the New Archeological Museum of Patras, one of the largest archeological museums in Greece.
