Royal Caribbean livestreamed cruise experiences as part of its “Come Seek” campaign via the Periscope app. Dubbed “COME SEEK LIVE,” the event let social media users follow along as guests explored Caribbean ports of call — and even vote on what should be done next.

As the next generation of cruise ships eclipse predecessors in size, expansion has been necessary for docking areas across the Caribbean to accommodate these bigger vessels. Brian Major, TravelPulse’s Executive Editor for the Caribbean and Latin America, examines the latest on these ports in flux.
