Crystal Cruises' latest venture, Crystal Yacht Cruises, has revealed new details surrounding the onshore adventures that will be offered to guests sailing aboard the Crystal Esprit beginning this December.
The 62-guest ship's maiden voyage is scheduled to begin Dec. 23 from Dubai, Crystal announced last month.
The extended New Year's celebration will feature dozens of shore-side options, including some of which will be exclusive and complimentary.
From deep-sea fishing and scuba diving in Seychelles to river rafting in Croatia, every Crystal Esprit itinerary — including the Indian Ocean/Seychelles, Mediterranean/Adriatic Coast, Holy Land and Middle East/Persian Gulf — will feature at least one complimentary excursion at each port.
"Yacht travelers expect all of the fine nuances that make a Crystal vacation extraordinary, but with a more intimate, personalized feel," said Crystal president and CEO Edie Rodriguez in a statement. "The Crystal Adventures offered with Crystal Esprit's voyages will satisfy – and surpass – this expectation, with most options available only with Crystal Yacht Cruises."
In celebration of Crystal Esprit's launch this winter, the luxury cruise line has announced that it will offer a pair of inclusive land programs.
The Seychelles' Inclusive Dubai Program will allow travelers to spend two nights exploring Dubai prior to boarding the Crystal Esprit. Meanwhile, the New Year's Eve Dubai Extravaganza is a three- or four-night program that will be made available to passengers boarding either of the yacht's first two sailings.
The experience will last three nights post-cruise on the ship's maiden voyage, and four nights pre-cruise on the ship's inaugural 2016 sailing.
Itineraries and fares for Crystal Esprit sailings from December through early 2018 are currently available on Crystal's website. However, they can only be booked by Crystal Society members through the end of the month.
On Sept. 1, all travelers will be able to make a reservation.
