Crystal River Cruises is getting a new vice president and managing director, Seatrade Cruise News reported.
Following several years as vice president of reservations with AmaWaterways, Walter Littlejohn will take over June 6, Seatrade said.
Littlejohn will replace Phillip Ordever, who has resigned after 12 years with Crystal Cruises, according to Seatrade.
Crystal president and CEO Edie Rodriguez told Seatrade Cruise News that Littlejohn will be “a tremendous asset, not only for our river team but for all our team. His skill set and background is ideal to run Crystal River Cruises.”
Prior to his many years with AmaWaterways, Littlejohn worked in strategic development with Expedia.com in Seattle, Seatrade said. Before that, he was founder, managing partner and CEO of Chartwell Vacations in Rutherford, NJ, and regional sales manager-northeastern New Jersey for Carnival Cruise Line.
The cruise line is based in Amsterdam, but has another office in Miami. Littlejohn will divide his time between the two offices, Rodriguez told Seatrade.
