Cunard and The New York Times are collaborating again. This time, it is to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the paper's iconic crossword.
Passengers on a special trans-Atlantic trip will be able to puzzle their way across the ocean onboard the Queen Mary 2 from New York City to Southampton, England on the Crossword Crossing.
The special sailing will leave on a seven-night cruise that takes place Dec. 8.
The New York Times is one of the most esteemed news organizations in the world," said Josh Leibowitz, senior vice president, Cunard North America, in a statement.
"We are proud to offer collaborations like this one, which will give our guests an extraordinary travel experience that they would not be able to find anywhere else," Leibowitz added.

Onboard experts include Deb Amien, columnist and editor of "Wordplay," the crossword column of The New York Times; Joel Fagliano, digital puzzles editor for The New York Times since March 2016; and Ben Zimmer, a linguist and lexicographer, who is also the language columnist for The Wall Street Journal and former columnist for The Boston Globe and The New York Times Magazine.
"Puzzle Master" Will Shortz will also be onboard and is hosting a special brunch as part of an exclusive cruise package that is only available when booked directly through Times Journeys (855-698-7979).
This is not the first time Cunard has partnered with The New York Times for special voyages. The two are offering exclusive sailings through The New York Times Insights Series, which features other Times-inspired, engaging speakers onboard trans-Atlantic crossings throughout 2017 and 2018.
