Norwegian Cruise Line
The summer continues in spirit as Norwegian Cruise Line extends its Free at Sea special. Through October 31, 2016, the brand is letting guests choose up to five free offers to tack on to their cruise.
Those who reserve a new three-day or longer voyage in an oceanview, balcony or minisuite category stateroom can choose any two complimentary selections from the following five offers: free unlimited open bar, free Specialty Dining package, free prepaid gratuities for the first and second guest in the cabin, free 250 minute WiFi package or Norwegian's Friends & Family Sail Free offer for free third and fourth guests on select dates.
Meanwhile, those booking an inside stateroom or a Studio one can select one of the perks, and guests reserving a suite or The Haven by Norwegian will receive all five, for an added value of $2,800.
In Hawaii, the Pride of America is offering its own Free at Sea deal which amounts to a selection of one of the following five free perks for guests in any stateroom category: a free one-night pre-cruise hotel stay with an option to choose reduced fare flights beginning at $399 from certain gateways, free Specialty Dining Package, free pre-paid gratuities for the first and second guest in the cabin, free $50 per port shore excursion credits in up to four ports or Norwegian's Friends & Family Sail Free for free third and fourth guests on select dates. Similarly, passengers in a suite will get all five offers.
Also, on new Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's holiday cruise bookings, guests will receive an extra $100 in onboard credit.
Oceania Cruises
Snowbirds looking to escape chilly northern temperatures can board Oceania Cruises for a unique special starting next year. In January 2017, extended 58 or 72-day voyages will take care of everything from meals and housekeeping to laundry. The Riviera will set sail for 72 days on January 3 with Veranda Stateroom rates beginning at $19,999, and the Marina for 58 days on January 22 beginning at $15,999.
Other added-value perks extend to the following:
· Complimentary economy or reduced first-class flights from $499 per person
· Complimentary pre-paid gratuities valued at up to $1,656 per person
And a selection of:
· Up to $4,200 in onboard credit
· Up to 42 complimentary shore excursions
· Complimentary beverage package
Star Clippers
Those looking to board Star Clippers on a unique ocean crossing can also enjoy some savings if they're traveling alone. Single supplements are being waived on the Royal Clipper for 16 nights from Barbados to Lisbon, Portugal or 28 nights from Barbados to Cannes in April 2017 and on the Star Flyer for 20 nights from St. Maarten to Malaga, Spain in April 2017 as well.
