Staying fit is one of the most important parts of life, and those traveling on cruises want to make sure they get their exercise in before having a good time on the ship.
That’s where the partnership between CKO Kickboxing and Royal Caribbean comes into play.
According to CKO Kickboxing, the combat-sports company will host the "CKO at Sea" cruise experience, featuring a five-night, round-trip Bermuda cruise that would depart from Bayonne, New Jersey. The cruise would take place on Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas ship and would feature a two-day overnight stay in King's Wharf, Bermuda.
For passengers who are worried about missing their workouts despite being on vacation, CKO Kickboxing will offer classes to club members and their guests. The "CKO at Sea" cruise will set sail from Aug. 22-27, and registration ends on June 1.
CKO Kickboxing founder and president, Joseph Andreula, released a statement about the collaboration between a cruise ship and kickboxing classes:
“We wanted to offer our members and our franchisees a chance to have a fascinating adventure on a great cruise line to a fantastic destination. Our members can enjoy a great time with their friends and families and meet new people who share similar interests. They can enjoy five days full of fun and fitness. Most people go on a typical vacation and they don't exercise. They come back feeling heavy and bloated. With 'CKO at Sea,' they'll work out in the fresh air with first-class instructors so they'll come back home feeling fit and refreshed.”
Add in a nutrition class the company will also be offering, a full-sized basketball court, rock climbing wall, ice-skating rink and sports pool, and this cruise is any workout fiend’s dream come true.
