Silversea Cruises has just released two new brochures detailing the luxury line’s ocean and expedition voyages sailing in 2016.
The company’s all-suite, eight-ship fleet will visit more than 800 destinations on seven continents next year. Both print and digital versions of the brochures can be requested by clicking here.
The cruises operated by Silversea traditional ocean-going fleet are detailed in the new 192-page brochure, while a separate 157-page booklet for Silversea Expeditions showcases the line’s more adventurous voyages. Both brochures feature new quick-response (QR) barcodes that smartphone and tablet users can scan to get more information.
Highlights include the “Venetian World Odyssey 2016” on the 382-guest Silver Whisper, which in January departs Fort Lauderdale on a 115-day voyage to 51 destinations in 31 countries. The cruise explores South America and the Pacific before concluding in Venice.
The Silver Spirit’s “Circle South America” Grand Voyage sets sail in January for 66 days on a round trip from Fort Lauderdale. A highlight of this itinerary is a three days in Rio de Janeiro during Carnival.
Among the expedition voyages are three that will mark the 100-year anniversary of explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton’s Endurance expedition in Antarctica. The 18-day Shackleton Centenary Voyages in January, February and December will explore the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, Elephant Island, and the Antarctic Peninsula.
Another highlight is the inaugural 12-day expedition cruise to the isolated White Sea and Kanin Peninsula in Russia’s extreme north on the Silver Explorer. It will sail round-trip from Tromso in June.
