Carnival Cruise Line has announced it's opening new pop-up sushi venues on four ships following the success of the Bonsai Sushi restaurants on several of the line’s vessels.
The new sushi stands will be found on the Carnival Conquest, Carnival Valor, Carnival Liberty and Carnival Glory.
Passengers on the participating Carnival ships will find the stand-alone eateries on Lido Deck, where they will be able to place their order and receive a notice on a provided pager when their meals are completed.
The stands will offer a variety of sushi, sashimi and rolls on an a la carte basis, with staples such as ebi (shrimp), sake (salmon), maguro (tuna) and hamachi (amberjack) available for $1.50 per piece.
California rolls and spicy tuna rolls will cost patrons $5 per delicious item, and the Bang Bang Bonsai rolls and tempura rolls will be $7.50 each. Complimentary sushi will also be available to customers at the Taste Bar appetizer venue and the Lido Restaurants on select nights.
