Carnival Cruise Line has announced it will host the first-ever “Carnival Playtime” event, featuring activities and games inspired by the My Little Pony and Transformers television and movie series.
The dual experiences will take place on three- and four-day voyages aboard the Carnival Imagination, which will depart from Long Beach, California, between July 13 and September 17.
The new celebrations are part of an expanded partnership between Carnival and Hasbro, with all of the activities being patterned after popular My Little Pony and Transformers characters. These include Rainbow Dash’s cupcake toss, Knock out the Autobots and Target the Enemy, as well as face painting, prizes, music and more.
In addition, there will be meet-and-greets and photo opportunities with characters such as Optimus Prime and BumbleBee from Transformers, along with Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony.

All of the themed activities will take place in Camp Ocean, and there will also be a special screening of Transformers: Age of Extinction during the cruise.
Carnival Cruise Line has continued to show its dedication to children who cruise, as the company also announced that its newest ship, the Carnival Horizon, will be the first vessel in the fleet to feature a Dr. Seuss WaterWorks water park onboard.
