As of February 3, 2017, perks have been added to every tier while two new top tiers were introduced: Platinum Plus for guests with 175 points and above and Ambassador for guests with at least 700 points. The elite levels come with special bonuses not previously offered. Platinum Plus and Ambassador guests will both get dinner with the ship’s officers, and Ambassador guests will exclusively receive a complimentary 7-day voyage.
Across all tier levels, loyalists will be gifted a bottle of sparkling wine and be able to take advantage of priority check-in, key card recognition and special shipboard discounts. Other complimentary perks for individual tiers distribute as follows: shore excursion discounts for Silver guests and above and bottled water for Gold guests and above. Other perks available in the program encompass free internet minutes and more.

“At Norwegian Cruise Line, we value our loyal guests and want to provide an aspirational and meaningful rewards program,” said Meg Lee, Chief Marketing Officer for Norwegian Cruise Line, in a press release. “We have listened to our guests’ feedback and have enriched our Latitudes Rewards program to better recognize our loyal guests with more valuable onboard amenities and additional tier levels that provide exclusive offers, including a complimentary cruise for our most frequent guests.”
What’s more, all passengers 18 and older are automatically enrolled into the Latitudes Rewards program following their first sailing as a convenience. Points are accrued according to one per cruise night as well as an additional one per evening in suite or Haven accommodations or with a Latitudes Insider offering. Current tier statuses can be viewed online through guests’ MY NCL accounts.
