For those looking to explore the Mediterranean in style, Celestyal Cruises' fleet of five small ships gives them access to ports that many of the larger ships can't enter. Celestyal Cruises shows passengers the best the Med has to offer, sailing from Greece, Turkey and Cyprus while providing an intimate onboard cruise experience.
Cabins. After a fun-filled day (or night!) it's tempting to stow away in your comfortable and spacious cabin for a while, taking advantage of first-class service which includes cleaning twice daily and turn-down service in the evening. Each cabin has a personal cabin steward and assistant cabin steward, who will be there to cater to your every whim.
Feel like staying in for the night? Room service means you won't miss out on a gourmet dining experience. In search of a quick bite in your room? You can even get a pizza (and ice for your drinks) delivered if the fancy strikes. Each cabin comes equipped with air conditioning, hair dryers, radio/television, and for an extra charge, a safe. Laundry service is also available for a fee.
Dining. Whether dining in the ship's main dining room (choose from a set menu or buffet), the enclosed poolside dining hall on the pool deck or one of the buffets near the pool, you will experience the finest cuisine Greece has to offer. Menus feature Greek dishes, made from scratch with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. With three baking sessions each day, guests can enjoy fresh-baked bread brought to their table at the start of each meal and from among 10 signature pastries. No Greek meal would be complete without a fine Greek wine as a compliment.
Guests may choose from the unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks packages which allow guests to drink as much as they wish from the time the bar opens until 2 am. The Alcoholic Drinks Package includes wines, beers and spirits. Wine lovers may wish to select a wine package, whereby your sommelier will pair Greek and international wines with each meal.
Lunch and dinner service are timed to accommodate each day’s activities so passengers needn’t worry they’ll miss a meal because of a shore excursion. Reservations are not required for either breakfast or lunch, which are open seating, as is the open deck buffet.
Public Areas. If you love the nightlife and got to boogie, Celestyal Cruises' nightclubs are the perfect place to dance the night away. Infused with the ambience of a Greek taverna, you can hear the best of Greek and international music. For those who are a little less confident on the dance floor, Celestyal offers Greek dancing classes so you can do a "sirtaki" that will put Zorba the Greek to shame.
For those just looking to grab a drink or unwind, passengers may want to enjoy a cocktail mixed at one of the poolside bars, or relax with a good book at one of the ship’s well-appointed bars and lounges. Each offer traditional beers and spirits, but why not sample some of Greece's specialty beverages such as a chilled glass of ouzo or a Skinos cocktail made with mastiha, a liqueur made from the mastic bushes of Chios?
