Princess Cruises Adding Style-Themed Activities to Voyages
Princess Cruises and TLC cable network have teamed up with fashion expert Stacy London to announce the introduction of "Style at Sea with TLC" as part of the line's exclusive Discovery at Sea partnership.
The partnership will give Princess Cruises passengers access to the revamped Runway at Sea onboard activities and will provide style advice and how-to tips for dressing appropriately during a cruise.
London will be involved with everything fashion for this journey, but will not be on the ship during the voyage. The stylist, author and magazine editor gained mainstream notoriety through the success as host of the TLC show “What Not to Wear” for several years.
Currently, London is hosting the TLC series “Love, Lust or Run,” and she will call on her fellow TLC personalities to give passengers a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The personalities will post videos offering guidance and advice to passengers to help women choose the best pieces of clothing for their cruise vacation.
Some of the focuses from Style at Sea with TLC program include tips for those who pack light, how to accessorize with a bathing suit, what to wear for a special occasion, how to apply make-up and much more.
London released a statement about TLC’s style-themed voyages, saying, “The Style at Sea program is designed to make all women feel confident throughout their cruise. Whether they're relaxing on a beach in the Caribbean, whale watching in Alaska, quickly changing from day to night, or getting ready for a romantic celebration, I want all women to know how to express their personal style with confidence anywhere and everywhere, land or sea."
Princess Cruises Senior Vice President Gordon Ho also commented, “Style at Sea with TLC adds to our 'come back new' brand promise, and is designed to give our guests transformative style experiences. We're proud to have Stacy London introduce this new program that will help our guests pack fashionably and with style specific to the destination as well as look and feel their best for their own celebrations at sea.”
