Reality television star Judith "Judi Jai" Jackson, best known for her appearance on Season 7 of the "Bad Girls Club," was removed from a Royal Caribbean International cruise Wednesday following an onboard altercation with a fellow traveler, representatives for the cruise line told the Chicago Tribune.

In a statement emailed to the Tribune, Royal Caribbean confirmed that cruise officials aboard the Freedom of the Seas met with Jackson and "explained that her behavior was in violation of our guest conduct policy, which states 'inappropriate or abusive behavior, including violence, is strictly prohibited.'"

While the cruise line stated that it made the decision to permanently disembark the 26-year-old at port in Falmouth, Jamaica, Jackson told the Tribune that she decided to stay behind after learning new information about her travel companion.

"I chose to get off. The ship didn't have another room for her," Jackson told the Tribune.

In a pair of Thursday Twitter posts, Jackson provided an update on her situation.

It's unclear what led to the incident or whether Jackson will face potential punishment. Nonetheless, court records show that Jackson is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 23 on charges of battery, resisting arrest and criminal damage to property stemming from a separate incident that occurred in February 2015, per the Tribune.

The Freedom of the Seas is currently in the midst of a seven-night cruise that departed Florida's Port Canaveral (50 miles east of Orlando) Sept. 13. The voyage was scheduled to make stops in Haiti, Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Mexico before returning to its homeport Sunday.
