Beyond the launch of its newest Harmony of the Seas and the largest cruise ship in the world, Royal Caribbean International is refurbishing six of its other vessels this year as well. Next up will be the Adventure of the Seas at a cost of $61 million to bring a number of new and enhanced features aboard.

Coming this November will be the aquatic additions of two racer water slides, the Cyclone and Typhoon, a FlowRider surf simulator and children’s Splashaway Bay water park. Izumi Japanese Cuisine and Chops Grille steakhouse specialty restaurants will dish up new cuisine, and Boleros Latin Lounge will step it up for entertainment. And accommodations will be expanded with over 100 extra staterooms and renewal of the existing ones, plus a new Suites Lounge. The internet system will also be upgraded for high speeds.

Itineraries aboard the Adventure of the Seas sail to the Southern Caribbean from San Juan, Puerto Rico and feature port stops at Bridgetown, Barbados; Castries, St. Lucia; St. Johns, Antigua; Basseterre, St. Kitts and Philipsburg, St. Maarten.
