Royal Caribbean International has expanded its Caribbean itineraries sailing out of Tampa aboard the Empress of the Seas to include brand new four- and five-night cruises featuring day and overnight visits to Havana, Cuba, the cruise line announced Friday.
The itineraries will also include stops in Key West, Florida and Cozumel, Mexico.
Available through November 4, 2017, the cruises are on sale now.
The new overnight stays in Havana will allow guests to experience the Cuban capital's unique nightlife, highlighted by a trip to the Tropicana Club and experiencing the ceremonial cannon firing at El Canonazo.
During the day, guests will have access to driving and walking tours of Havana, the latter taking place in a classic American car. Visitors will make stops at iconic landmarks, including the Hotel Nacional de Cuba and the Plaza de Revolucion, as well as take a scenic drive along Cuba's Malecon waterfront.

Royal Caribbean will also bring the Cuban culture onboard with a variety of unique offerings, including salsa music in the Boleros Latin Lounge and cortaditos and cafe con leche inside Cafe Royal.
Friday's announcement comes nearly two months after Royal Caribbean received approval from the Cuban government to operate cruises to the island nation.
"Our guests have expressed real interest in having the opportunity to experience Cuba, and we look forward to bringing them there," said Royal Caribbean's chairman and CEO Richard D. Fain in a statement last year. "Our discussions with our travel partners indicate that Cuba is a destination that appeals to a new generation of travelers."
