Seabourn Cruise Line has revealed new exterior renderings of the Seabourn Encore ahead of the luxury liner's launch in December 2016 and inaugural sailing in January 2017.
The new 600-guest ship will essentially be a larger version of the company's Odyssey-class vessels, while still accommodating Seabourn's high passenger space ratio and staffing that allows for nearly one crewmember for every guest.
"Detail by detail, the creation of Seabourn Encore has been exciting to behold and share. The new exterior renderings now posted on the ship's dedicated microsite put Seabourn's newest addition in perspective, and represent another milestone in the evolution of small-ship cruising," said John Delaney, Seabourn's senior vice president, marketing and sales.
Adam D. Tihany is designing the 40,350-gross-ton all-veranda vessel, highlighting Seabourn's signature understated elegance. One extra deck and new expanded public areas account for the luxury ship's increased size. More details can be explored at Seabourn Encore's microsite. A second sister-ship - the Seabourn Ovation - is also scheduled for introduction in 2018.
