Seabourn continues to double down on successful partnerships as it expands its Thomas Keller, Tim Rice and Dr. Andrew Weil programming throughout the luxury fleet.
The Seabourn Odyssey has most recently received some new love from Keller and Weil, while Rice's entertainment now reaches all the line's ships.
"The additions of The Grill by Thomas Keller and Spa and Wellness with Dr. Andrew Weil continue a new chapter in Seabourn's long history of offering the finest guest experiences in luxury travel," said Seabourn President Richard Meadows, in a press release.
"Through our outstanding partnerships with Chef Keller and Dr. Weil, we are excited to expand these programs on Seabourn Odyssey, with a fleet-wide rollout scheduled to be completed by the end of this year."
Following the Seabourn Quest originally and Seabourn Encore recently, the newly refurbished Odyssey marks the third ship to feature the line's exclusive showcase of Keller's cuisine at sea. It's also the second to feature Spa and Wellness with Dr. Andrew Weil behind the Encore as well.
The Grill by Thomas Keller is the core specialty restaurant from the celebrity chef and features interiors by similarly acclaimed designer Adam D. Tihany. The overall ambiance and menu is inspired by the classic American chophouse, which replaces the former Restaurant 2. Seabourn Sojourn will next feature Keller's food in late 2017, with Seabourn Ovation up in May 2018.
The new mindful living program from Dr. Andrew Weil is a holistic spa and wellness experience incorporating physical, social, environmental and spiritual health. Elements include meditation and yoga. There are some complimentary seminars, with one-on-one wellness sessions are available for a surcharge. The entire fleet is also targeted to eventually receive the program.
During its refurbishment, the Odyssey also received updates to other spaces and surfaces throughout. Refreshed areas include The Spa, Fitness Center with new equipment, re-carpeted suites with new mattresses and refurnished Wintergarden, forward Owner's and Signature suites.
Meanwhile, Seabourn's latest "An Evening with Tim Rice" production has now been unveiled fleet-wide. In collaboration with the award-winning lyricist, this successful musical first debuted on the new Seabourn Encore. The performance is also in association with Belinda King Creative Productions and directed by Belinda King.

"We have received wonderful feedback about Sir Tim Rice's show on Seabourn Encore, and are very excited that our guests on each of our ships can now take part in enjoying some of the finest entertainment in the industry while traveling with us," said Meadows, in another press release.
"I'd invite anyone who is a fan of his work to join us because this show can't be seen anywhere else."
Besides the Encore, Odyssey, Sojourn and Quest, the musical is scheduled to also launch on the upcoming Seabourn Ovation in 2018. On every ship, Rice personally introduces via video numbers from "Chess," "Jesus Christ Superstar," "Aladdin," "The Lion King" and more before ace live renditions are sung.
Vocalists cast in the show have their own Broadway and West End credits, including Dayle Hodge ("Jersey Boys"), JC McCann ("Jersey Boys"), Rachel Jerram ("Avenue Q"), Matias Polar ("FAME") and Ellie Ann ("Saturday Night Fever").
