Cruise | May 31, 2011
Seatrade has announced a new cruise event, the Seatrade Middle East Cruise Convention, which will take place at the Meydan in Dubai, Oct. 18 to 20. The dedicated event will focus on the Middle East's rapidly expanding cruise sector. It will feature an exhibition, a conference, workshops and a training seminar. The event will bring together representatives from the world's cruise lines with regional stakeholders, which will allow participants a rare opportunity to reach cruise line decision makers and hear the latest in industry trends from experts and business leaders.
Workshop sessions will foster one-to-one interaction between regional destinations and cruise line itinerary planners. A free training day for travel agents will feature bespoke training and presentations from cruise line representatives and will provide specialized insight into the cruise product, along with a wider knowledge of tourism in the region. The convention will also provide information and networking opportunities for tourism authorities and government officials in immigration and security-related areas.
