Silversea Cruises has opened sales for its 2017 World Cruise, a 116-day voyage from San Francisco to Monte Carlo aboard the 382-guest Silver Whisper.
All-inclusive fares for the full voyage start at $61,550 per person, based on double occupancy.
The voyage will visit 62 destinations in 25 countries, an itinerary the luxury line calls the “Best World Cruise Ever.” Departing Jan. 6, 2017, the Silver Whisper will sail from San Francisco Bay to Hawaii and cross the International Date Line to the South Pacific, New Zealand, and Australia. Then, weaving her way through Bali and Sandakan, it will call at Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Singapore, before setting a course for the ancient temples of India, Arabia, and the storied capitals of the Mediterranean. Guests sailing the full 116 days receive a variety of extra amenities, including a gala Bon Voyage reception, dinner and overnight stay at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco, baggage valet service, business-class air and transfers, a $4,000 onboard credit per double-occupancy suite, complimentary laundry service, and commemorative gifts. Plus, Silversea is enhancing the perks in 2017 with the addition of complimentary dry cleaning and free unlimited Wi-Fi for all full-cruise guests.
Three shoreside events are complimentary to full-cruise guests. These include China’s famed terracotta army of warriors in Xian on an overnight tour from Shanghai, a visit to Sir Bani Yas Island off the coast of Abu Dhabi where exotic animals roam free, and a nostalgic dinner and dancing amid the planes and heroes of Hangar 37, the entry point to Hawaii’s Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor.
Also, two Silversea Experiences will be complimentary for guests sailing 50 or more days — a beach party on Boracay Island and an exclusive presentation at Malta’s Teatru Manoel, a restored 18th-century theater.
