On Tuesday, Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection introduced the company's new ship, the S.S. Joie de Vivre, which will sail the Seine River in France.
Scheduled to launch in March 2017, the S.S. Joie de Vivre will feature two Royal Suites, eight Junior Suites and 54 staterooms, making up a total capacity of only 128 total guests onboard. Each room will be custom designed with unique amenities and services.
The interiors of the suites and rooms will be designed by Uniworld's sister company, Red Carnation Hotels, and will highlight French-inspired decor that will help fully immerse guests in the Seine River experience.
In addition to fine art collections which will be found throughout the vessel, the S.S. Joie de Vivre will also feature a movie theater, pools and multiple restaurants, including Le Restaurant Pigalle and La Cave de Vins.

Uniworld president Guy Young released a statement about the new ship:
"We are extremely proud to launch the S.S. Joie de Vivre in Northern France in March 2017. Uniworld was one of the very first river cruise companies to sail the rivers of France, and our parent company, The Travel Corporation, has been bringing travelers from all over the world to this amazing country for over 70 years as this has been one of our most popular destinations, so our commitment to France is unwavering."
