We've already seen the sassy social media posts on Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat by Carnival Vista's diva-ish persona. And now she personally takes us on a video tour of … herself?
The video gives an in-depth sneak peek at Carnival Vista, which will debut in May 2016 with an array of new features like the first IMAX theater at sea, New England-inspired Seafood Shack serving lobster rolls and clam strips, and the line's first-ever brewery.
The video opens with a three-quarter exterior panoramic view of Carnival Vista at sea as the voice-over introduces herself and sets the casual, conversational tone the narration employs throughout the five-minute segment. The tour begins with a fly-through of the atrium, anchored by a three-deck-high LED column with ever-changing colors and shapes extending from the center of the atrium bar.
From there, it's on to the main pool area and the RedFrog Rum Bar and BlueIguana Tequila Bar and then up to SportSquare, home to mini-golf, a ropes course and SkyRide, a suspended cycling experience.
The video then tours the Lido restaurants and brewery before moving onto the accommodations, including the new Family Harbor staterooms and suites, which include an exclusive lounge with games and snacks.
It also shows the tropical-themed Havana staterooms and suites, which feature outdoor sitting areas complete with hammocks. Nearby is the Havana Bar and Pool, which the narrator describes as "a slice of Old Cuba magically transported smack-dab to the middle of the ocean."
The tour then explores the kids' facilities, including the marine-themed Camp Ocean and Dr. Seuss Bookville, the IMAX Theater, and specialty restaurants including the Fahrenheit 555 steakhouse, Bonsai Sushi, the Cucina del Capitano family-style Italian restaurant, and JiJi Asian Kitchen.
"So that's me in a nutshell, and I gotta say, I can't wait to have you onboard," Carnival Vista concludes. "We're gonna be fast friends, I can feel it. See you at sea!"
