WATCH: Ponant's First-Ever Underwater Lounge and Other New Ship Details
Photo via YouTube
Ponant recently announced that it will build four new expedition ships, and now a YouTube video hosted by Cruise Advice is further detailing the vessels’ features, not the least of which is what it claims will be the first-ever underwater lounge.
In total, the ship design will come outfitted with 92 staterooms, each with its own private veranda, a reinforced hull for polar regions and a crew complement of 110. The most exciting features, of course, are the glass-enclosed submerged lounge for viewing passing marine life, an infinity pool with a transparent side and a three-position marina deck for both launching and lounging.
