Holland America Line's "Countdown to Koningsdam" video series continues with episodes 4 and 5 previewing the future ship's staterooms, suites and The Dining Room (rendered above). The vessel is scheduled to launch in April 2016 for a Mediterranean season before heading to the Caribbean. Inaugural cruise director Johnathan Rogers again hosts the Koningsdam showcase videos, hosted at my Popular Cruising YouTube channel and embedded below.
Staterooms and Suites
"We spent years developing and fine-tuning the design of the ship's accommodations to ensure that our guests feel like they're walking into a pampering and relaxing environment while they're cruising on Koningsdam," said Orlando Ashford, Holland America Line's president. "We gathered feedback from guests and travel partners about upgrades and changes they'd like to see in our staterooms, and my and her team did a fantastic job implementing many of those ideas. From the color schemes to the functionality of the layout, Koningsdam's accommodations are the perfect home away from home."

The Dining Room
"The Dining Room is the heart of the culinary experience onboard, and this new 'Countdown to Koningsdam' video enables us to show fans the new innovations and ideas we're introducing in this space," said Ashford. "The restaurant is an impressive work of art, and it's the perfect venue for our guests to enjoy fine dining with Holland America Line."
