One lucky South Florida educator will join the likes of singer Gloria Estefan, Olympic medalist Michelle Kwan, actress Whoopi Goldberg and other celebrities this coming November.
That's because Royal Caribbean International is holding a contest to name a godmother for the world's largest cruise liner, its new Harmony of the Seas cruise ship, according to the Miami Herald.
The Miami-based cruise line is asking locals to nominate a teacher or volunteer whose passion for education has inspired their students and others.
In addition to the proud title of godmother, the winner will be awarded a $25,000 grant toward her school or non-profit organization as well as a two-night trip on Harmony of the Seas' pre-inaugural sailing from Nov. 10 to 12 accompanied by up to three guests.

The godmother will also win a future seven-night cruise for two aboard the 6,780-passenger ship.
Educators from South Florida's Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties are eligible for the contest but time is running out for nominations. Contest entrants have until Sept. 23 to make their case for their educator in 500 or fewer words.
The winner will be honored during a ceremony Nov. 10 at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale.
Following the pre-inaugural sailing Harmony of the Seas will begin operating seven-night itineraries to the eastern and western Caribbean.
