Windstar Cruises is offering all-inclusive packages on select itineraries in Central America, the Caribbean and Tahiti for bookings made through Sept. 18.
The small-ship specialist is the latest cruise line to offer all-inclusive packages, which are increasingly popular with consumers who like the value and the absence of what many see as nickel-and-dining.
Windstar's "All-Inclusive Tropical Cruise" package is available on 11 itineraries and priced from $2,499 per person. The package includes three free shore excursions, an unlimited beverage package including cocktails and wines by the glass, free onboard Wi-Fi and all gratuities.
The free shore excursions are predetermined and include, for example, the Manuel Antonio National Park Nature Walk on the "Passage Through Panama and Costa Rica" voyage, the Bora Bora Island Discovery on the "Dreams of Tahiti" sailing, and the Prickly Pear Beach Snorkel Adventure on the "San Juan & the Virgin Islands" voyage. Each cruise also includes a Private Event, an exclusive onshore experience.
Windstar's beverage package covers unlimited cocktails, including several top-shelf brands, sparkling wines and wines by the glass that are $12 and under, and beer, as well as mini-bar beverage selections and beverages provided through room service.
