Atlantic City Boardwalk, Tourism District Open for Business

Atlantic City tourism officials said the Atlantic City Boardwalk is fully open for visitors. They said news reports claiming boardwalk was damaged or washed away during Hurricane Sandy are incorrect and erroneous. The boardwalk remains intact and has been fully open to visitors since Nov. 2.

The Atlantic City tourism district and boardwalk did not experience major damage as a result of the storm. There have been visitors to the city’s casinos and to the boardwalk.
